About
Good Design.
Done properly.
I’m Jon Heavens, a graphic designer and illustrator of over 15 years, working across brand identity, print, packaging, and digital applications. My clients know that design does a job: it communicates before anyone reads a word, and it has to hold up over time.
My background spans hospitality, tech, music, apparel, education, merchandise, and games design. Across all of it, one thing stays constant: good design, done properly.
I take on a small number of projects at a time so each one gets proper attention.

How I Work
The Process
Discovery
Understanding the business, the audience, and what the project needs to achieve. A clear brief produces better work.
Strategy
Before any visual work begins, I establish what the brand needs to communicate and to whom. That foundation shapes every decision after it.
Design
Concept development, refinement, and presentation. Multiple directions if needed. Honest feedback welcomed.
Deliver
Final files, guidelines where needed, and support through rollout. The handover is complete when you have everything to move forward.
